Transactional relationships vs partnerships
I recently did a presentation for the GIBiz summit talking about how the transactional publisher-developer relationship is dead. I strongly believe it's all about creating long-term partnerships.
This video might help you understand what we're looking for these days in terms of game pitches. It's really important to think beyond that single game, and figure out what you want to do in the long term. Because in an oversaturated market creating value becomes very difficult, and once you do have something like a recognizable game, it's our job to help you figure out how to make it into a franchise.
